It's all Happening at V.O.H

The last few weeks have been of surprises ,from the Second coming of Rachael of England, and then Director Andrew from AUS, and he is mainly to organise the Empower Trauma Rehabilitation program and its our mothers this time to be run through.
Setting that aside, our 2 volunteers(Sophie and Hayley) who stayed longer after the Jan Team's leaving have this week gone back ........... They have indeed been a blessing to us from me, the mothers, children and i believe every one in the Village..Wish you "safer flight girls; We'll never forget the ways how you have blessed the Village of Hope ,,,talking to our big girls, helping out mothers, playing with the kids,,i still have your dancing strokes in my mind.
It has also been a week of dishing out New Under garments from mothers to the children ,and a few dozens of mosquito nets were also available.
The Village is becoming interesting, growing and enjoyable day by day especially to the new families in Houses 9 and 10 where the children are so proud to be able go to School after having breakfast, come have lunch and then heavy suppers each day  which to them was a dream during slum time.Generally everyone is doing well , our A-Level students Brenda and Samuel are joining boarding section on Monday and the School Term is still on in all Schools ,at all levels.
I can't end minus thanking all Hope Builders for the Great Support extended to us...

A busy week for us with the organizing of the needed stationery and tuition fees, to taking back Boarding Students in their respective Schools including Paul and Samuel,(Winnie, John,Joshua) are candidates in S.4.
Back at the Village, we're fine ,Children often tell me what has taken place in their school right from Hope Land Pre-School, Jinja Christian School to Hope Community High School.....It's always exciting to hear.
During the weekend,a lot still goes on at the Village, from counseling sessions, games and sports, learning of domestic activities and so on. We're also blessed to have Mad ,Sophie and Hayley stay longer as they help us in the day today activities in all most all Hope Builders' Projects.. they make the Village more enjoyable to especially the children.
