During these 2weeks, you've put smiles on Children's faces through games and sports, outing for a pool swim, gifts and a lot more... Including the dancing strokes of our cultural music which you had  a few minutes to learn.
In your time still, our Pre-School pupils graduated to primary School with a big celebration at Hopeland, also ,we had  a good time with Director Johann from a management meeting to dinner with the whole Team at Sun Set Hotel...
Your stay i must say has been a blessing to Uganda Hope Builders International, we crowned it with a farewell and afforded to offer you a simple certificate of appreciation....Thanks to all Schoolies2015''

Update From Village of Hope

Our beloved readers, greetings to you all, and thanks for the effort you always inject in Breaking the Cycle of Poverty.
Village of Hope continues to bless those coming in and leaving it. We are happy to be part of the Great team which is making sure that children's lives are changed positively.............Thanks to all Hope Builders all over the world.
With your generous support, we always register tremendous progress in our work of raising and training  a generation to be self sustainable and responsible citizens. We are able to pay children's educational needs , maintain them in school ,accommodating and feeding them because of you people.
Still on education, we need 'we' the parents to be at the center stage of our children's capabilities academic wise. This started through holding home lessons in reading and basic science concepts and interpreting them in their local language to enable them understand better. We are also grateful for our Winnie and John S4 candidates who are sitting their National Exams, and pray that GOD grants them success with flying colors. For P7-Martha,Carol, and Wycliff, their's will be on 2/Nov/15 keep them in prayers.

Holliday of Family Bonding

It has been one month since we had our second Term holidays..... A lot has happened at the Village and in the Communities.
Our children are well and they have enjoyed the time, in play and learning, working with the mothers, and administrators as they continue to enjoy the V.OH environment.
We also moved a step to visit Children's families (parents/guardians) for those who had taken long and those who had never been back. It was a joyful moment for the guardians to see their children grown up and looking bright and health. Children were also excited about the visits and seeing their guardians.. 'Some were a bit disturbed with direction as they could get confused with the new developments in their areas of origin.
For one family,-Tracy and Sandra, it was both joy and tears, these were admitted to VOH at a younger age, and the family visit enabled them realize that both their parents died. We were welcomed by their uncle and aunt who narrated the story to us
Families visited were of Janat,Sheila, Sudais, Micheal,Jenipher-Martin,Deborah.Jesca, Juma-Latifah,all their parents were very happy and thankful for Hope Builders International's support and care of their Children and wished the ministry God's richest blessings.
